Loaners are great! The caregiver sees first-hand the difference in the child’s progress and potential – a great motivation towards compliance at home. The clinician observes the wearer’s responses and can experiment to determine the best TheraTogs System, to demonstrate the donning process to the caregiver, and to validate proper sizing.

TheraTogs Loaner Systems are available for clinicians who prefer a trial period before making a final decision about purchasing TheraTogs. The Loaner system trial period provides a hands-on demonstration for caregiver and clinician.

(*There is no cost for the Loaner System itself, but we do charge a $42.00 “round-trip” shipping fee.)

All Loaner systems have been cleaned according to our standard disinfection protocol. 

How the Loaner Program Works

  • The participating clinician accesses the Loaner Request Form from her/his professional account and fills it out for the target client. (We use this data to ensure we’re sending you the correct system, in the correct size.)

  • The system will add the Loaner to the clinician’s Shopping Cart. To complete the order, the clinician can either pay the round-trip shipping fee, or select the Pay-by-Invoice option and we’ll send a digital invoice to the Billing party listed. (This is usually the Caregiver.)

  • Within three business days of receiving payment, we’ll start processing your request. Loaner orders generally ship once a week.

  • The loan period is 15 days for Wunzi Loaners, and 30 days for all other Loaner systems, starting 7 days after we ship your Loaner. These time periods give you ample time to establish and demonstrate TheraTogs’ effectiveness, while allowing us to offer Loaner systems to more caregivers. 

  • To encourage prompt Loaner returns, we ship each system with pre-paid return shipping and packaging, and we’ll send you an email reminder near the end of your loan period. (If the Loaner system is not returned on schedule, we may charge the credit card on file for the full cost of the system.)

  • Note: Dragonfly TLSO loaners, and shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, may charge slightly higher, due to external shipping costs.

  • Return Loaner in good shape: Please wash and dry your Loaner system before returning it.
    (Tip: Don’t send back a package that you wouldn’t want to open at your own kitchen table.)

    If you return your Loaner in utterly unusable condition (apart from normal wear), you may be charged a replacement fee, up to the current list price for that unit.

  • Clinician Billing for Loaner Trial: TheraTogs are registered as an FDA Class I orthotic system, so clinicians may be able to use CPT code 97760 (orthotic assessment or fitting) to account for your time spent sizing, fitting, and adjusting the Loaner system. (Billing policies vary by state and by payor, so check with your billing administrator.)

Note: The supply of Loaner configurations is limited, so some delays in shipping may occur.
